According to the Ho Chi Minh City Statistics Office, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for August 2023 in the city increased by 0.7%. This index rose by 3.45% compared to the same period last year. The city's Statistics Office also reported that the group of food and dining services increased by 0.53%, while the transportation group increased by 4.15% compared to the previous month, mainly due to three fuel price adjustments during this month.
