Organic agriculture production in Vietnam has been rapidly developing, especially over the past decade. Many provinces and cities across the country have effectively implemented organic farming models. The shift from chemical-based agriculture to green and organic farming is essential in response to the growing demand for clean food from consumers. Organic agriculture, which avoids the use of chemicals in the production process, ensures the safety of agricultural products for human health. Moreover, organic farming is also a method of production that safeguards the environment and natural ecosystems
Organic agriculture aims to improve the quality of agricultural products to ensure food safety and environmental friendliness, and this is a future-oriented goal. In the upcoming period, organic agriculture should harness all available natural factors in the production region. This includes the existing soil fertility, utilizing local plant genetic resources and crop varieties to maximize the adaptability, suitability, and stability of sustainable agriculture. Proper management of water resources, seasonal planting, and organic fertilizers should also be emphasized

Additionally, organic agriculture requires minimizing the use of chemicals that are harmful to crops and the environment, such as chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, growth stimulants, and preservatives. This is done to create organic agricultural products that closely resemble natural products, ensuring safety for human consumption and delicious, natural flavors.
Furthermore, there is a need for training and awareness programs to educate people on organic farming techniques, enabling farmers to adopt advanced technology and mechanization in agriculture production. Simultaneously, market control and the establishment of a comprehensive system for the consumption of clean and safe products should be strengthened.
In addition, specific policies and mechanisms should be in place to promote the development of organic agriculture. Agricultural extension services and relevant agencies should continue to provide support in building demonstration models for organic farming to enhance trust and expand the adoption of organic practices in society.
