According to regulations, September 1st is the scheduled date for adjusting domestic gasoline and diesel prices. However, due to it coinciding with a public holiday, the adjustment will be postponed to September 5th. Currently, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline is 23,339 VND per liter, while RON95 gasoline is priced at 24,601 VND per liter. From the beginning of the year until now, gasoline prices have undergone 24 adjustments, including 14 increases, 7 decreases, and 3 instances of no change.

In relation to the petroleum story, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently required petroleum trading businesses to strictly and fully implement the minimum total supply plan for 2023 (both in terms of quantity and types) to ensure a continuous supply of petroleum for customers. Additionally, units should actively source both domestic and imported petroleum products, and adhere to the prescribed petroleum product reserves to ensure a sufficient supply of petroleum for the domestic market in all situations.
